If this is the future of the Tea Party, buy silver

If the Tes Party has degenerated into a single, social issue advocacy group then any hopes of cutting wasteful USG activity can be abandoned. This guy running against Boehner in the GOP primary is opposed to federal spending on Planned Parenthood- hardly the most eggregious of
USG excesses when measured by the numbers. He may be correct to raise social and Constitutional objections to such spending, but his self-described sole issue would hardly change the direction of the GOP in a more fiscally sensible direction.

On top of that, a 26 year old candidate with no relevant experience who doesn't even live in the district he hopes to represent is hardly a viable candidate.

Based on that reasoning, the GOP's gestures toward increased frugality will continue, concurrent with unsustainable spending. Consequently- buy silver (see store below!).
